Dutch Nurse Under Investigation for Threatening to Lethally Inject Israeli Patients

AMSTERDAM, August 1, 2025 – A Dutch-Muslim nurse, Batisma Chayat Sa’id, is at the center of a police investigation after allegedly vowing on Instagram to administer lethal injections to Israeli patients. The threats, exposed by Israeli activist Max Veifer, included statements like, “You know what I’m doing with Zionists—giving an extra injection as a nurse specialist. Letting them go to heaven!” and “All Zionists can die, inside healthcare and beyond, and I’m happy to help with that.”

The inflammatory remarks sparked widespread outrage and raised concerns about antisemitism and patient safety in the Netherlands’ healthcare system. Sa’id deleted her social media accounts and denied the allegations, claiming her identity was stolen. She was detained for questioning but insisted she harbors no hatred toward Jews or any group.

Authorities are investigating the incident, but no evidence has surfaced to suggest Sa’id acted on her threats. The case has intensified debates over hate speech and professional accountability in healthcare. As of now, the investigation remains ongoing, with no final resolution reported.
